Welcome Shepton High School Band friends and family and thank you for responding to your student’s invitation. We are looking for your support for our annual Practice-A-Rama!
What is Practice-A-Rama?
Practice-A-Rama is a combination fundraiser and marathon practice session to prepare students for the All-Region Band audition process. We invite professional musicians in to lead small masterclasses that will give the students the extra push they need to succeed.
In addition to the focused practice, we use this event as a fundraiser as well. Like a 5k or home run derby, students enlist sponsors like you to pledge a given amount for the event.
When is Practice-A-Rama?
Students will meet from 8 am till 12 pm on Saturday, September 28. Throughout the morning, the students will be engaged in focused practice. This is a learning event, but it’s also a social one as students get to spend time together, including a pizza party at the end.
